About Our Scholarships

Our Senior Award Scholarship was established in 1976 to promote and acknowledge deserving young women who have demonstrated academic achivement, as well as a commitment to good citizenship and community service. The Senior Award is four-year scholarship, awarding $2,000 annually, designed to honor African American, female, high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence, citizenship, and community service. In addition, it covers up to $1,000 annually for course materials and includes four years of mentorship from 2 of our WA Mentors to help guide recipients on their educational journey.
